The Agus Academy returns to its Torah Study roots with a focus on the books of Numbers and Deuteronomy. The Book of Numbers is an exquisite literary tapestry of legend & lore, law, priestly concerns, and an itinerary marked by rebellion after rebellion. The Book of Deuteronomy presents itself as a simple retelling of Moses’ Torah, but in truth it is any but what it claims to be. There are considerable differences in the retelling of some important accounts, and Deuteronomy even introduces some brand new material to the Torah. Come and explore the deeper side of these two foundational books of Torah with your friends at the Rabbi Jacob Agus Academy of Jewish Learning.
