In January 2008, the Beth El Board of Trustees approved the establishment of the Legacy Society and its accompanying Legacy Wall in the Felser Corridor. During the past several months, members of the Legacy Society Committee have been meeting with members of the congregation to acquaint them with the purpose of the Legacy Society and to encourage their participation. We are pleased to report that, to date, fifteen members have made their commitment to the Legacy Society and have provided a future gift to the congregation through their wills. It is our hope that other members will be encouraged to participate in this worthy cause that will serve to sustain the future viability of the congregation.

To this end, members of the Planned Giving Committee will be contacting members of the congregation to further explain the purpose of the Legacy Society and to enlist their participation. The purpose of the Legacy Society is to ensure the future well-being of the synagogue. increase its endowment and to ensure Beth El synagogue for future generations.

Please be aware that you will not be solicited for any current financial support to be a member of the Legacy Society. If you have already made a provision for Beth El in your will, please take the time to contact our Development Office at 410-580-5159 so that we can add your name to the Legacy Society and appropriately recognize your generosity during your lifetime on the Legacy Wall.
