Ailene Sher has been working at Beth El in various capacities since 1995.  Her undergraduate degree was obtained from the Teachers Training College in Johannesburg, South Africa, and her graduate degree in Jewish Education from Baltimore Hebrew University.  Prior to working at Beth El, Ailene started the first Jewish Day School in Wellington, New Zealand.  She has a married daughter and a son.  She and her husband Michael reside in Mt. Washington.
