High Holiday Family Services Registration
Exciting Changes for High Holiday Family Services at Beth El for 2017
After evaluating our offerings for families during the high holidays and responding to feedback from our High Holiday survey, we have made some exciting changes to our high holiday offerings for our families with children.
Beth El will offer two family services for Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur:
Preschool through 1st grade Early Childhood Service (10:00 a.m.): an engaging and musical Early Childhood service led by Morah Becky Gordon on the first day of Rosh Hashanah and Student Cantor Melanie Blatt on Yom Kippur.
Second Grade and Above Family Service: A newly created second family service led by Rabbi George Wielechowski and Student Cantor Melanie Blatt on both days of Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur. The service will enable parents and children to engage together in a meaningful High Holy Day experience. It will be fun, participatory and a little more sophisticated for our families with older children. The service will also offer leadership opportunities for middle schoolers and teens.
11:00 a.m. on Rosh Hashanah Day One and Yom Kippur; 10:30 a.m. on Rosh Hashanah Day Two
Please note that both family services will require advance registration but there will not be assigned seats.
If you are a family with a Berman-Rubin, Offit or a Family Membership ($970) you are invited to register for the service without any additional charge.
If you are dues/no seats member and want to attend one of the family services, there will be an additional charge of $360 per family that can be added to your account.
- If you are a non-member and are interested in attending either family service, please contact Josh Bender for more information on seat availability and/or membership.
Look for complete High Holiday information and details on children’s activities in our upcoming e-Chag (holiday) newsletter in the coming weeks.
