Beth El to Participate in Prostate Cancer Run / Walk

We are excited to invite you to join Beth El Congregation’s team for the upcoming Dr. Sanford J. Siegel Prostate Cancer Run/Walk, part of the ZERO Prostate Cancer Run/Walk series. This year’s event will take place on Sunday, September 29, and we would love to have you with us as we walk (or run!) to support the fight against prostate cancer.

Our co-captains this year for our Beth El Congregation team will be Rabbi Schwartz and Cantor King. We encourage everyone to arrive early for the opening ceremony. Rabbi Schwartz will give the invocation and in addition to singing the National Anthem, Cantor King will be the 2024 survivor keynote speaker. In 2023, Cantor King was diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic prostate cancer. Beth El’s choir will also perform during the opening ceremony.

By joining our team, you’ll be part of a nationwide effort to raise awareness and funds for prostate cancer research, patient support, and education. Whether you’re a seasoned runner or prefer a leisurely walk, your participation will make a difference.
