We are thrilled to invite you to join our Beth El community as we come together to paint a mural on the site of our soon-to-be-renovated preschool playground. The original playground was dedicated in 2001 by siblings and long-time Beth El members, Marilyn & Gary Berman and Steve Weinstein, in honor of the B’nai Mitzvah of their children. Over 20 years later, Marilyn Berman and Steve Weinstein will rededicate the playground in memory of their parents, Susan and Elliot Weinstein. The new playground designed for our youngest students under the age of 2 years boasts a modern design, combining fun and safety in an inviting and inclusive environment. Special attention was given to accessibility, ensuring that children of all abilities can enjoy the space. Soft, cushioned surfaces and shaded areas enhance safety and comfort, making the playground a welcoming haven for our Infant and Toddler Program. Participating in the mural project is a wonderful opportunity for our entire Beth El community to come together in a meaningful and creative way. No artistic ability or special talent is required—just bring your enthusiasm and willingness to contribute! Please note that due to the nature of the painting involved, we encourage middle school-aged children and older to join their families in this project.
