Upcoming Private Movie Screening

We are excited to announce an exciting opportunity to participate in an exclusive private screening of the movie, Farewell Mister Haffman, followed by a discussion with Dr. Eyal Bor.

You can join Beth El Congregation’s Rabbi Mark G. Loeb Center for Lifelong Learning on Sunday, May 5 at 1:00 p.m. at The Charles Theatre. Bus transportation is available from Beth El. Based on a stage play, this movie is a fictitious story of the unsafe situation of Jews in WW2 in occupied Paris. The story, focused on a Jewish jeweler and a French family, takes place over the period from early 1941, not long after the Nazis occupied part of France until the end of 1942. The film is in French with English subtitles.
